Two 50 minute lessons each week online via Zoom accompanied by two easy online lessons from ChineseHomework.ie.
In addition to getting a basic understanding of the language you'll be given a good grounding in Chinese culture.

Why ChineseHomework.ie?
I have been teaching our pilot TY students class since October, with a month off at Xmas and a hard stop on Friday 13th March. We've just started up again in mid-May with Zoom.
The whole class passed HSK2 in January with an average of 70%, it normally takes an academic year and a half for HSK2. Even more satisfying was this was achieved while delivering a sizeable non language cultural component.
You'll learn quickly and efficiently and will find choosing Leaving Cert Chinese easy with a clear understanding of what it entails.

Classes
Classes begin week beginning 25th May 2020.
Max class size is 20.
You'll need a laptop with Zoom level of internet access. (If Netflix works your connection will be fine)
These will be Zoom video calls for the most part.
Each lesson is pay as you go. Two lessons per week is expected.
* HSK is the Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi, the Chinese state exam for Mandarin
